We offer a range of maintenance services such as our Sensor Check and Clean, EOS Services, Lens Services, and Cinema EOS Services. These services are designed to keep your product in excellent condition so you can always get that perfect shot.

As you use your product, there will be some unavoidable wear and tear. Over time, mechanical parts can fail, dust can get into the product, or other faults may develop. This can affect the quality of your photos as they may become noisy, blurry, or in some cases, your product may stop working.
Regular maintenance can resolve or prevent these issues, keeping your product fully operational so you’re always ready to capture the perfect shot. Servicing your equipment with the manufacturer before selling ensures that the product is in top performance condition, providing an added layer of trust for the new owner. This guarantees optimal functionality and reliability, enhancing the overall value of the product and fostering confidence in its performance. - We recommend you get your product professionally serviced to avoid any damage to your product.ÂÂOur Professional Service Centres and Canon Factory Service Centre have specialist equipment and tools which our factories use for production. Our highly trained technicians will ensure your maintenance service is carried out to the manufacturer’s specifications. In the event that our technicians identify any other issues we will be able to recommend next steps to you (i.e. repair).ÂOur Canon Authorised Service Partners also have access to exclusive tools, technical information and receive training from Canon. However, as they are independent organisations, they may offer different maintenance services to Canon and are subject to their own terms and conditions.

You may notice that your photos are showing signs of wear and tear, such as blurry or noisy photos, or buttons not working properly. If this is the case, it may be that your product needs maintenance to return it to optimum condition.
We believe it is also a good idea to regularly use our maintenance services to help prevent failure at a crucial moment. We recommend every 2 years, however, more frequently may be required depending on how heavily the product is used.
Cleaning
After a long period of use, or in extreme conditions, dust generated by the mechanisms of the camera can find its way to the surface of CMOS sensor or ND filters. Also, it can attract dust and dirt when lenses are changed. This may cause black spots on your images.
It is essential to make sure the sensors on your equipment are clean and working correctly. Our maintenance offers cleaning and checking of CMOS sensor, ND filters and glass of mount. To reduce the risk of your images being affected, we recommend one of the following services:
Focus Matching
Over time, your AF sensor may gather dust or sustain impact damage, or your lens may have deterioration of your Ultra Sonic Motor (USM). These factors can affect the quality of the focus and the images you take.
Our EOS and Lens services includes offer a comprehensive set-up and checking process, with full function checks and image analysis, which makes sure your cameras and lenses are maintained within the manufacturer’s specifications. Performance tests are also carried out, to ensure optimal image quality and functionality. We can also realign your camera and lens together to the best configuration using our Focus Matching service.
Please note that to include Focus Matching as a part of your EOS and Lens services, you will need to send your camera and lens to adjust them together.
Pixel Defects
Due to certain conditions, such as extreme heat or exposure to brightness, your camera may have some pixel defects which can cause dots to appear on your images.
Our service offers a comprehensive set-up and checking process, with full function checks and image analysis, which makes sure your cameras and lenses are maintained within the manufacturer’s specifications. Performance tests are also carried out, to ensure optimal image quality and functionality.
