Solution

You can connect to a computer via Wi-Fi to remotely operate the camera using the EOS Utility (EOS software).
EOS Utility is a software for communication with your EOS DIGITAL camera. The latest version of EOS Utility can be downloaded from the Canon Web site.

EOS Utility can be used with the following computer environments (as of july, 2020).

Supported OsesWindows 10
Windows 8.1
macOS 10.15.3 or later ,macOS 10.14, macOS 10.13, macOS 10.12
*Important*
EOS Utility 3.12.10 cannot be used with macOS 10.15.2 because the camera cannot be connected.
Please do not install.
