Sign up to PIXMA Print Plan
Save up to 50% on ink* with the PIXMA Print Plan subscription service. Choose a suitable print plan for you where you pay a monthly price based on your print usage and get ink delivered whenever you start running low.
How it works
Choose a plan
Print less? You can rollover any unused pages for one month
Print more? We'll charge you 10p for each additional page you print outside your plan
PIXMA Print Plan is a subscription service based on the number of pages you print, not the cost of the ink cartridges you use. Depending on your expected monthly print needs, you select the appropriate plan for you. You only pay for the fixed monthly cost of your plan and any overage costs. You don't pay for inks or their delivery cost, as this is all included in your monthly plan fees.
Once you’ve signed up for this service, we will send you a welcome pack with subscription-compatible inks. Going forward, whenever your printer starts running low, we’ll automatically send you replacement ink, meaning you’ll never run out. At the end of each month, any unused pages will be rolled over to the following month, giving you extra pages to print.
Once you’ve been enrolled on a PIXMA Print Plan, you have complete control over your subscription through your Canon account. You can check your print usage, see billing, and upgrade, downgrade or cancel your subscription.
Yes, you can upgrade and downgrade your plan. You can change your enrolment and selection of your PIXMA Print Plan through your Canon account. An upgrade to your PIXMA Print Plan (increase the number of included pages per month) is effective straight away. A downgrade (decrease the number of included pages per month) will be effective at the end of your current billing period after you have made the subscription change.
No, with the PIXMA Print Plan we will monitor your usage and ink levels. New PIXMA Print Plan ink cartridge(s) will be provided as your ink level gets lower and the printer will prompt you when to change the cartridge(s). There is no need to order or lookup the cartridge type.
You must keep your PIXMA Print Plan printer connected to the internet so that your printer’s ink levels are consistently monitored.
The PIXMA Print Plan cartridges are ink cartridges specifically designed for PIXMA Print Plan printers and they will not work in non-PIXMA Print Plan printers (for a list of eligible printers, see the PIXMA Print Plan overview page.).
PIXMA Print Plan cartridges only work while subscribed to a PIXMA Print Plan, see terms of service for specification and cartridge restriction.
If you have recently subscribed to a PIXMA Print Plan, firstly you must activate your printer with your current cartridges (e.g. starter cartridges from the printer box or non-subscription cartridges) before using the print subscription cartridges. Follow the steps on the activation page. to activate the service, then you can start using the subscription cartridges. If you do not have the starter cartridges or non-subscription cartridges for activation, please contact customer support.. Note that you can still keep using your own non-subscription cartridges regardless of the service activation status.
The printer is unable to check the status of your subscription cartridges to keep running the service. Make sure that the printer is connected to the Internet. If you need help, please follow the instructions on the printer web manual.
To enrol in the PIXMA Print Plan service and maintain your subscription, there are a few requirements:

You need to have a valid payment method and an active e-mail address.

You can rollover unused pages for one month. For example, if for one month you use 55 pages of your 60 page plan, you’ll be entitled to 65 pages the following month. If, in a separate month you use 62 pages, you’ll be charged an additional £0.20.
No, Canon will not be able to see what you’ve printed. We will only monitor your print usage so that we can send you ink whenever you start running low, based on the plan you choose.
