- Measurement accuracy is ±1.0 yd (±0.91 m) under 100 yd (91 m) and ±2.0 yd (±1.83 m) beyond 100 yd (91 m). Straight-line measurement, based on Canon testing standards. The PowerShot GOLF is a basic rangefinder; measurement results should not be used for official records or the like.

- While the rangefinder features water-resistant elements, this does not completely prevent water droplets from entering the product. Terminal cover must be securely closed to maintain water resistance.
