1. THE PROMOTER, PROMOTIONAL PRODUCTS, PARTICIPATING RETAILERS, PROMOTIONAL PERIOD AND PARTICIPANTS
1.1. The promoter is Canon (UK) Limited of 4 Roundwood Avenue, Stockley Park, Uxbridge UB11 1AF.
1.2. All Participants must be aged 18, resident in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (“UK”) and be a full member of the professional photography association listed in clause 1.2.1 below, or are an attendee at one of Canon’s Professional Services Events listed in clause 1.2.2 below (“Participants”):

  BPPA – The British Press Photographers’ Association
  PPI – Press Photographers Ireland
  The Societies of Photographers
• 1.2.2. Eligible customers who have attended these specific qualifying Canon events:
  Puffins workshop on Skomer Island with Canon (June 2024)
  Red Squirrels workshop with Ellie Rothnie and Canon (October 2024)
  British Wildlife Centre Photo Workshop (October 2024)
  Gather to Grow (January 2024)
  Thrive by Photography Farm 2024 (March 2024 & October 2024)
  Coda Conference (October 2024)
  NineDots Gathering 2024 (November 2024)

• 1.7.1. Is a unique non-transferable code valid for the Participant’s use only;
• 1.7.2. is valid for purchases of Promotional Products from the Participating Retailers only up to a maximum total of £20,000.00 RRP value if the Promotional Products are purchased in mainland UK or up to a maximum total of €20,000 RRP value if the Promotional Products are purchased in Ireland; and
• 1.7.3. is valid for use for a period of six (6) months from the date of its issue to the Participant (“Validity Period”).

2.2. Participants will then receive an email confirming that their application has been received. If a Participant does not receive a confirmation email within three working days of registering their application, or do not have access to a computer, please contact Canon’s Hotline on 0800 044 3251 or by emailing canon@promotion-support.com.
2.3. Once received the application will be considered by Canon. This check usually takes two working days. In individual cases this may take longer.
2.4. Canon will not process any applications after the closing date of the Promotion Period the 31st December 2024.
2.5. Canon will not process applications which are in its opinion incomplete or illegible. Canon will not be responsible for claims delayed or not successfully received.
2.6. After successful examination of the application by Canon, the Participant's eligibility to participate in this Promotion will be confirmed by e-mail and a discount code provided to them. The discount code can be used by the Participant multiple times within the Validity Period (as set out in clause 1.7.3 above) up to the maximum amount stated in clause 1.7. It can be used at any of the Participating Retailers on purchases of Promotional Products.
2.7. The discount code that the Participant receives provides a 10% discount on the RRP price from the Participating Retailer, which must be deducted directly by the Participating Retailer.
2.8. The Promotional Products are subject to availability while stocks last. Canon will not be liable for the failure of Participating Retailers to fulfill orders of Promotional Products.
2.9. Only one application per Participant may be made during the Promotional Period.


3. DISCLAIMERS
3.1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Canon shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury of any nature howsoever caused, sustained by any Participant under this Promotion. However, nothing in these rules shall have the effect of excluding or restricting Canon’s liability for personal injury or death caused by the proven negligence of Canon’s employees or agents.
3.2. Canon reserves the right to void, amend, and/or change this Promotion at any time without incurring any liability whatsoever.
3.3. Canon reserves the right to audit any claims to ensure compliance with these terms and conditions and to request additional information and supporting documents. Canon reserves the right to exclude claims and/or Participants if it suspects that the Promotion is being abused in any way. Canon’s decisions in relation to the Promotion are final and no correspondence will be entered into.


4. DATA
4.1. Any personal data submitted to us will be processed by Canon (UK) Limited, its agents or associated group companies for the purpose of administering this Promotion and, if applicable, for marketing purposes – in cases when Participants have opted-in to receive marketing communication from Canon. The personal data collected from Participants shall be subject to the Canon Business and Canon Consumer Privacy Policies, as applicable, available at https://www.canon.co.uk/privacy/privacy-notice/.
4.2. Canon uses the following agency to carry out the administration of this Promotion: BENAMIC, IDA Business & Technology Park, Ring Road, Kilkenny, Ireland
4.3. If Participants do not wish for their contact information to be used for marketing purposes or to enable Canon to contact them in future regarding similar promotions, they should NOT check the relevant “opt-in” box when completing the claim form.
4.4. The personal data provided is held securely and may be transferred on a secure server outside the EEA. 5. LAW AND JURISDICTION
5.1 These terms and conditions and any disputes arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
