1. CANON AND PARTICIPANTS
1.1 This free prize draw (“Prize Draw”) is run by Canon (UK) Limited of 4 Roundwood Avenue, Stockley Park, Uxbridge UB11 1AF (“Canon”).
1.2 All entrants (“Participants”) must be United Kingdom residents aged 18 or over.
1.3 Employees of Canon, its subsidiary companies, their families, agents and other parties directly involved with this promotion and the sponsorship are not eligible to enter.
1.4 By entering this competition, all Participants are deemed to have agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions unless notified otherwise in writing.

2. PRIZE DRAW AND HOW TO PARTICIPATE
2.1 The entry period for the Prize Draw opens on 25th May 2023 at 00:01 and closes at midnight on 4th June 2023 (the “Entry Period”). The draw to pick the winner shall take place on the 5th June 2023.
2.2 To enter the Prize Draw to win the Prize (as defined at Clause 3 below), Participants must visit the dedicated Canon campaign page at https://www.canon.co.uk/competition/canonclub-puffin-workshop-2023 and submit their contact details via an on-line form during the Entry Period (an “Entry”).
2.3 One entry per one person.
2.4 Entries received after expiry of the Entry Period will not be eligible to be entered into the Prize Draw. Canon reserves the right to disqualify incomplete or illegible Entries.

3. THE PRIZE
3.1 Five winners (each a “Winner”) will be randomly drawn from all valid Entries received throughout the Entry Period.
3.2 The Winner will receive one (1) quota of Photography Workshop on Skomer Island on 18th/ 22nd/ 23rd/ 24th or 25th June 2023. (the “Prize”).
3.3 The Prize shall be allocated as follows:
3.3.1 Canon will inform the Winner of the Prize by email at the address used for the Entry
3.3.2 Winner shall confirm they are happy to claim the Prize (within 5 working days) via email reply
3.4 The Prize is non-transferable, and no cash or credit alternatives will be substituted for the Prize on offer. In the event that the Prize offered is unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control, Canon reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.

4. THE SELECTION
4.1 The Winner will be selected from all eligible Entries using a random number generator and the Winner’s entry confirmed by Canon.
4.2 Canon will contact the Winner as soon as practicable after midnight on the 4th June 2023 but not later by 6th June 2023 via the email address submitted.
4.3 If Canon receives any rejected or unclaimed Prize from the Winner within 5 working days of attempting to make contact by email, the original announced winner will forfeit their Prize.
4.4 The Prize may be awarded to other Entrants at the absolute and sole discretion of Canon UK
4.5 The Prize will be e-mailed to the Winners not later by 8th June 2023.
4.6 The Prize is as stated when published.
4.7 The Prize is provided to the Winner of this Prize Draw in good faith by Canon. If a winner is unable to accept the Prize for any reason, then Canon must be notified as soon as possible.

5. PERSONAL DATA
5.1 Any personal data submitted to Canon will be processed by Canon and its agents or associated group companies for the purpose of administering this Prize Draw.
5.2 Participants may be contacted by Canon for the purposes of administrating the Prize Draw or in the event that Canon wishes to discuss any other use of the information submitted to Prize Draw.
5.3 Canon Europa N.V., 59 Bovenkerkerweg, 1185 XB, the Netherlands (“CENV”) and Canon (UK) Ltd, 4 Roundwood Avenue, Stockley Park, UB11 1AF, Uxbridge, United Kingdom are the Data Controller in respect of any personal data supplied by Participants.
5.4 The personal data provided is held securely and may be transferred on a secure server outside the EEA and the UK. For further details on how Participants’ information is protected please see the Canon Business and Consumer Privacy Policies (here) as applicable.

6. DISCLAIMER
6.1 In exceptional circumstances, Canon may void the Prize and/or change other promotional conditions provided that such changes are necessary and can be justified by objective reasons.
6.2 Canon reserves the right to refuse to honour any entry or to recover the full value of any Prize if it considers there has been an abuse or breach of the terms and conditions of this Prize Draw.
6.3 Canon shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury of any nature howsoever caused, sustained by any participant under this promotion. However, nothing in these Terms shall have the effect of excluding or restricting Canon’s liability for personal injury or death caused by the proven negligence of its employees or contractors.
6.4 In the event of a dispute over interpretation or implementation of the rules on any matter related to the Prize Draw, the decision of the Directors of Canon is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
6.5 If any part of these conditions is found by a court of competent jurisdiction or other competent authority to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, then such part shall be severed from the remainder of these conditions, which shall continue to be valid to the fullest extent permitted by law.

7. LAW AND JURISDICTION
The Prize Draw will be governed by English law and entrants to this Prize Draw submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
