The EOS C400 is built for Virtual Production thanks to cutting-edge features including a 6K Full Frame BSI Sensor, Triple Base ISO, 12-bit Cinema RAW Light and compatibility with Canon’s Live Link plugin for Unreal Engine. Combing the EOS C400 with exceptional optics such as the CN-E 45-135mm T2.4 Flex Zoom and CN-R Primes allowed the team to seamlessly integrate rich cinematic footage with real-time camera / lens metadata output, producing realistic and breathtaking results. The use of accurate metadata directly from camera to the Unreal Engine helped increase efficiency on-set without the need for time-consuming lens calibrations or the use of external lens encoders.
