Martin Ferguson, Director of Policy & Research at Socitm, presented on 'Technology for Public Good' and the opportunity for organisations in the Public Sector to demonstrate a grasp of the effect of digital change and technology in 2024 and beyond.
Quentyn Taylor, Director of Information Security at Canon EMEA, delved into practical strategies for strengthening the defences of organisations as 83% of organisations have had more than one breach according to IBM’s 2023 ‘Cost of a data breach’ report1, and expanded on the increasingly stringent data protection laws.
Rob Shapland, Head of Cyber Innovation at Wavenet spoke about navigating the current cyber landscape with resiliance, provided insights into the criminal mind and revealed security initiatives that organisations can implement to tackle crime. Rob eluded on the topics from his hands-on experience as an ethical hacker at Wavenet.
