DRUPA 2024: THE POWER TO MOVE

At drupa ‘24, in Düsseldorf, Germany, we stepped into a world of innovation. In a captivating debut for our ‘Power to Move’ campaign, we showed how our powerful blend of technology innovations, teams of experts, excellent support services and dynamic collaboration to empower print service providers to transform their businesses.

Canon at drupa '24

For drupa 2024, we brought together the full portfolio of Canon production print technologies, including sheetfed inkjet and toner presses, high-speed continuous inkjet production lines, flatbed and roll-to-roll wide format printers, and digital label printers. We unveiled disruptive new products and looked beyond technology alone to offer business innovation insights with tangible value.

Through customer success stories, innovative applications, and inventive business models, we profiled a series of creative and commercial possibilities for digital print-on demand. Our stand at drupa was more than just a display – it set out a pathway for businesses to transform, adapt, and thrive through sustainable growth.

CAD Printing

Visitors to the CAD Printing area on our stand experienced how the latest colorWAVE, plotWAVE and imagePROGRAF devices are used across colour and large format technical printing applications. Through the example of a fictitious cycling brand, we showed how our CAD printing solutions offer precision and colour integrity across a range of different media types and weights, both large and small format. And can be applied on projects from technical drawings and colourful posters to maps and wall planners.

Interior design

Our drupa stand highlighted a range of innovative print applications, including examples of how Canon customers have used digitally printed décor, from floors and wallpapers to furniture and glass embellishments. With the Colorado UVgel and new Arizona 2300 FLXflow printers, along with PRISMAelevate XL, users can produce stunning and varied output – including on metallic and textured materials. We even demonstrated our new sustainable wallpaper made from recycled media. Meanwhile, the new imagePROGRAF PRO and GP series brought high quality photo and fine art applications to life.
