CASE STUDY

A successful transition to 'The workplace of tomorrow'

De Zorggroep has brought its printing and scanning applications to the public cloud, so that printing and scanning is possible at any time and from any device, without having to spend a lot of time on management.

“After the move to microsoft 365, We also brought printing and scanning to the public cloud. This is now possible at any time and from any device, and it only requires an internet connection.”

About The Care Group

De Zorggroep is a large healthcare provider in Limburg, Netherlands, with 38 locations, 5,900 employees and 2,750 volunteers. The Zorggroep offers nursing and care to everyone in North and Central Limburg (660,000 inhabitants), from young to old. They have various residential and care centers and also provide care at people's homes.

To ensure that employees can devote maximum time to care, they wanted a smooth transition to 'The workplace of tomorrow'. A workplace where employees can work independently of their location and information is available everywhere. Together with their IT partner KEMBIT, De Zorggroep has therefore set up all Microsoft Office365 applications in the Microsoft Azure cloud.

In just 2 days we implemented uniFLOW Online on more than 220 printers. This results in greater productivity, multiple scanning configurations and mobile printing is possible from the uniFLOW Online app.

Print and scan more efficiently

Now that all applications were housed in the cloud, the desire arose to also bring printing and scanning to the public cloud in the transition to 'the workplace of the future', so that printing and scanning is possible at any time and from any device, where only an internet connection is required.

To achieve this, we implemented our software platform uniFLOW Online including our unique 'My Print Anywhere' functionality. This allows you to print and scan via the public cloud using the proven Microsoft Azure platform. Furthermore, all scans end up directly in the correct OneDrive or SharePoint folder.

Great financial benefits

Because there were no more management (and servers) and maintenance costs for IT, the transition to uniFLOW Online has major financial benefits. No longer needing IT management results in significant savings of around € 18,000 in 60 months. Add to this the monthly €1,000 in server costs that will no longer be required because your own servers are no longer needed. This also makes a significant difference in electricity consumption, which fits in well with De Zorggroep's sustainability policy.

Reliability at the forefront

The uniFLOW Online software platform is very reliable, because it runs via the stable Microsoft Azure Platform. This also makes this solution safe and GDPR-proof, and the data remains in the Netherlands. Rest assured security in the cloud is guaranteed because no unauthorised access is possible.

“We are very satisfied with the fast, efficient and secure solution for cloud scanning and printing!”
